2005 competition
What makes a good law teacher?
This year’s student competition asked students to write a short essay (800-1,500 words) on the topic ‘What makes a good law teacher?’. The aim of the competition was to highlight good practice in learning and teaching and to motivate students to think about how they learn.
The competition was won by Farina Jussab of the College of Law, who received a cheque for £150. In second place was Sachin Trikha from the London School of Economics, and third was Lara Saraireh from the University of Bristol. All three were invited to attend LILI 2005. Farina’s essay was entered into the Higher Education Academy’s Student Awards competition, and she was also invited to attend the Academy’s 2005 annual conference.
